Aplimentec Foundation was founded by a Timorese students in 23rd May 2002 in Dili which intended to support a sustainability development on Timor-Leste community rural areas. Aplimentec means technology application. it is an abbreviation from the Portuguese language “Aplicação de Desenvolvimento da Tecnológia”. Aplimentec main operation are water supply, environment protection, capacity building and community development.
